Speaking of my tone deafness, I was watching tv the other day, and the characters in the show were apparently singing very badly on purpose. Everyone else in room was covering their ears, saying "AUGH IT'S SO TERRIBLE" It sounded perfectly fine to me.
It's like music is one big joke and I'm not in on it.
